The Monticello Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 4th "Monticello Chamber Business Expo- Connecting our Community" on April 22, 2008 at the Monticello Community Building. The Expo hours are 3:00pm - 7:00pm and admission is free.
The Expo will be showcasing over 60 of Monticello's outstanding local member businesses, providing an excellent opportunity for the public to visit and acquaint themselves with the numerous services and products available- all in one location. Many of the exhibitors will be having give-a-ways at their tables plus exhibitor specials. Several healthcare organizations will be there with timely information and screenings.
This will be a fun event for the entire family with a bounce house and refreshments for the kids. Allerton Public Library is partnering with the event to host a storytime at 4:00PM in the library.
At the Expo, over $5000 worth of gifts and prizes will be given away throughout the 4 hours. Included in the giveaways are an overnights stay at Allerton Park, a gas grill, freezer chest, a pearl necklace set, gift certificates, a home theater system, a Zune and so much more. "The participating businesses have done a great job of offering special gifts and prizes. It will be an excellant opportunity for the public to connect with local businesses," said Shelly Crawford-Stock, event chair.
"This is the first time we have had the event in the downtown and we look forward to tying in the downtown businesses to the event" stated Sue Gortner, Chamber director. The Expo draws a large crowd and the hope is they will also visit local businesses.
There is still some booth space available and booths are open to Chamber members. Please contact the Chamber if your business is interested in participating- don't miss this opportunity to promote your business.
