Pauline S. Foster, 92 of Monticello, formerly of Decatur passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 2:27pm at Kirby Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Rev. Dennis Beedy officiating.  Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00pm Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Keller Cemetery in Lovington, Illinois.

Pauline was born June 3, 1917 in Lovington, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Bernice (Clark) Smith.  She married James W. Foster October 10, 1935.  Pauline is survived by her daughter Kay Drew of Monticello, and her son Dan Foster of Decatur, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepmother, Edith Churchill Smith Fawcett, and 1 sister (Mary Smith Collins).  Pauline worked as a supervisor for Illinois Public Aid for 26 years before retiring.  She was a member of Central Christian Church of Decatur.

Memorials may be give to Central Christian Church of Decatur or the Piatt County Nursing Home.
