William E. Halterman, 56 of Decatur, formerly of Bement, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 12:42pm at his residence in Decatur.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Roux-Hinds Funeral Home, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00am, also at the funeral home.  Pastor Marsha Frederick will officiate.  Burial will be in the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement.

Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Bill was born on April 14, 1953 in Monticello, a son of William and Jeanette Welch Halterman.  Surviving is one brother, Richard (Theresa) Halterman of Manakin Sabot, VA.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Halterman.

Roux Hinds Funeral Home, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement, has been entrusted with the family's loved one for Bill's services.
