Wade Ashley Bjordahl, 64, of Deland passed away at 1:30pm Wednesday, October 1, at the Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Farmer City.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 4, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main Street, Farmer City. Military rites will be accorded at the funeral home. Bishop Edward McGhee will officiate. There will be no burial. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm Saturday, October 4, at the funeral home.

Mr. Bjordahl was born August 11, 1944 in Minot, ND, to Arthur and Verda Brown Bjordahl Sr.
Surviving are one son, Wade (Kristina) Bjordahl II of Deland; one daughter, Heather Bjordahl of Rockford; one stepson, Jason McClain of Humbolt; three grandchildre, Ella, Jeremiah and Taylor; three brothers, Roy (Wanda) Bjordahl, Arthur Bjordahl and Robert Bjordahl, all of Minot, ND; and one sister, Rita Bjordahl of North Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Wade worked at Proviant Tech Inc. in Champaign. He was a Vietnam-era Navy veteran. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed go-cart racing, gardening, fishing, and barbecue. He loved his dog, Miss Tii.
