Act fast to celebrate the music of Jim Morrison and The Doors under the stars!  The popular "Ladies and Gentlemen... The Doors" light show will no longer be shown at the William M. Staerkel Planetarium after the fall semester.

"Due to our impending equipment conversion to a full-dome video system and our licensing arrangement with the music publisher, we will no longer show this program after December 5," said Dave Leake, planetarium coordinator.  "You'll have only 16 hances to hear the Doors on our sound system along with special effects and over 7,000 spinning stars."

The light show will be performed at 9:30 pm, every other weekend beginning September 5 through December 6.  Tickets are $5 per person at the door.  Listen to win tickets exclusively on 105.9 WGKC.  For a full schedule of all programming, call 217.351.2446 or visit the planetarium's website.
