Connie Sue Lynn, age 57, of Mahomet, passed away at 9:50pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy.  Chaplain Jeff McPike will officiate.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, July 7, 2008 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lynn was born April 8, 1951 in Monticello, the duaghter of James and Ethel Snodgrass Carney.  She married Gene Lewis April 10, 1970 in Monticello.  He survives in Mahomet.  She later married James Lynn on June 28, 1989 in Bedford, Indiana.  He survives.

Survivors include her husband, James of Mahomet; her mother, Ethel Carney of Monticello; two sons, Chad (Kathy) Lewis and Grant Lynn, both of Mahomet; two grandchildren, Abbie Lewis and Faith Lewis, both of Mahomet; two brothers, Willard (Terry) Carney of Monticello and Clifford (Dawn) Carney of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Lynn was a graduate of Monticello High School.  She worked as a supervisor at Carle Clinic in the insurance department for 22 years.  She walso worked as a supervisor for State Farm Insurance for 14 years.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling.
