One of the most popular youth recreational activities is almost here!

The City of Monticello Department of Recreation announced that the Youth Soccer League registration will begin on Monday, August 13th and run through Wednesday, August 22nd.  Registration takes place at the City of Monticello Municipal Building, 210 N. Hamilton, from 8:00am - 5:00pm.  There is a $35 participagion fee, which includes a team t-shirt.

Soccer games take place at the Dwight B. Wilkey Sports Complex at the Monticello High School, on Saturday mornings in the fall.  Soccer leagues are based on the 2007-2008 school year.  Youth in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to register.  Kindergarten through 4th grade leagues are co-ed teams, while the 5th though 8th grade leages are not.
