Learn Practical, effective ways to make your company "green" at a free information session on Tuesday, May 20, from 7:30 to 9:00am at the Parkland College  Business Development Center, 1315 N. Mattis Avenue, Champaign.

The event will include breakfast, exhibits, and a presentation by Tim Lindsey, manager of the Pollution PRevention Program for the Illinois Waste Management and Research Center (WMRC) and Laura Barnes, WMRC librarian.  The presenters will discuss ways to improve your bottom line through sustainable business practices, such as reducing material and energy waste and taking advantage of available resources.  A question-and-answer panel will round out the activities.

A division of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the WMRC assists Illinois industries, businesses and citizens to reduce and manage waste.

Session space is limited; registrations will be taken through May 13 by calling 217.351.2235 or by email at PBDC@parkland.edu.
