Donna Valeria Jane Edwards, 88, Farmer City, formerly of Monticello and Cisco, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 3, 2008. 

Private funeral services will be held at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello.  Burial will be at Croninger Cemetery at Cisco.

Mrs. Edwards was born February 26, 1920, to Clarence and Gladys Sullivan.  She attended Cisco Grade School and High School, and Argenta High School.  She married Thomas E. Edwards on June 30, 1939.  They shared 60 years together, until his death on August 18, 1999.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.  She is survived by her sister, Chrystine Benson, Cisco.

She is survived by her son, Larry and his wife Marthy, and their three children, Kim, Kevin and Kristi, and six great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her daughter, Valera and her husband Michael, and their son, Mark, and three step-daughters, Jessica, Emily and Mary, and step-great-grandchildren.

She was dearly loved by her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling, eating out, getting her hair fixed, crocheting and flowers.  She enjoyed visiting with her great-grandchildren, who fondly called her "Grama Great." She will be missed by all who knew her.
