Margaret E. Newberry, 86 of Monticello, died at 9:13 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Kirby Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.  Interment will be in the Mansfield Cemetery.

Margaret was born March 17, 1921 in Mansfield, the daughter of Wallace and Millie (Baker) Wack.  She married Lloyd Newberry August 25, 1940 in Malmyra, MO.  Surviving are her daughters; Gina (Jim) Allen of White Heath and Billie (Terry) Van Tine of Monticello, 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.  Margaret was a press operator for the former Colwell Printing, currently known as Patterson Office Supply for several years, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
