NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON
APPLICATION FOR ZONING CHANGE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the City of Monticello Plannign Commission upon the Application for ZONING CHANGE filed with the City of Mnticello by The Monarch Collaborative, LLC, owner for the property legally described as follows:

That portion of Lot C of a Plat of Survey by J. Robert Bower, dated April 14, 1956, of Lot 1 of the Subdivision of Lot 4 of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 18 North, Range 6 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Piatt County, Illinois, filed for record in Plat Book 3 at page 70 in the office of the Recorder of Piatt County, Illinois, described as follows, to wit:  Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot C and running thence West, along the South line of said Lot C, said line also being the North line of “The Fourth Plat of Foxfield Subdivision, Monticello, Illinois,” South 89° 33’ 56” West, 256.39 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 47 in said Fourth Plat of Foxfield; thence North 22° 30’ 40” East, 56.10 feet; thence North 04° 16’ 34” East, 43.13 feet; thence North 89° 33’ 56” East, 230.86 feet to a point on the East line of said Lot C; thence South, along said East line of Lot C, South 00° 30’ 26” East, 94.65 feet to the Point of Beginning, encompassing 0.521 acres, more or less.

The hearing will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Monticello Council Chambers, 210 N. Hamilton Street, Monticello, Illinois.  Notice is further given that the property owner is seeking a zoning change of the above property from Multiple Family Residential (RM) to Urban Residential (RD).  All interested persons have the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence.
