Dennis Jamison, 62 of Bondville, passed away at 1:00pm Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello.  The body was cremated with a private family burial at a later date.

Dennis was born January 23, 1948 in Paxton, the son of Clark Walter and Dorothy (Kaiser) Jamison.  He married Jackie Hartley on December 3, 1976 in Champaign.

Surviving are his wife; Jackie Jamison of Monticello, son; Dennis Robert "Rob" Jamison of Paxton, 5 grandchildren, brothers; Allen Ray Jamison of Bloomington and Vernon (Jill) Jamison of Ludlow, sisters; Audrey (Wayne) Apperson of Foosland, Janice Wells of Gillman, and Betty (John) Drinkwalter of Mahomet.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons (Shawn Clark Jamison and Kyle Lee Jamison).

Dennis worked as a forklift driver at Kraft Foods, farmed and owned a lawn service.  Dennis also served in the U.S. Army.
